Feudi Bizantini

Chieti - Abruzzo | Marco Di Paolo

CONVENTIONAL

Located in Crecchio, Abruzzo, Feudi Bizantini has gained international recognition for its commitment to preserving ancient grape varieties while embracing modern winemaking innovation. The winery’s vineyards, nestled between the Maiella mountains and the Adriatic coast, benefit from mineral-rich soils and cooling sea and mountain breezes, creating wines with aromatic complexity and freshness.

Feudi Bizantini focuses on native varieties like Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo, Pecorino, Cococciola, and Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo, alongside innovative international blends in the Terre dei Rumi range. Their approach balances tradition and technology, using clonal selection and viticultural zoning to express the land’s full potential.

The winery’s unique location, with limestone-rich soils and high-altitude vineyards, ensures optimal ripening conditions and elegant, fruit-driven wines. Feudi Bizantini’s vision is to produce wines that are deeply rooted in Abruzzo’s heritage while maintaining a modern, internationally appealing style, resulting in wines of intensity, structure, and finesse.

2021 MONTEPULCIANO D’ABRUZZO ‘TERRE DEI RUMI’

Deep, saturated flavours of fleshy black cherry, a lick of vanilla poached plum, and engaging violet lift meets velvety, rich tannins. Just delicious.
